Eye Shapes: How to Enhance Your Natural Beauty

1. Almond Eyes

Almond eyes are the most common eye shape, characterized by a slightly pointed outer corner and a rounded inner corner. To enhance your almond eyes, apply a light shade on the lid, a medium shade on the crease, and a darker shade on the outer corner. Use a thin line of eyeliner on the top lash line, extending it slightly at the outer corner. Finish with mascara to define your lashes.

2. Round Eyes

Round eyes are characterized by a circular shape and a visible crease. To elongate your round eyes, apply a light shade on the lid and a darker shade on the outer corner, extending it slightly upwards and outwards. Use a thin line of eyeliner on the top lash line, making it thicker at the outer corner. Avoid applying eyeliner on the bottom lash line to keep the eyes looking open.

3. Hooded Eyes

Hooded eyes have a heavy brow bone that droops over the lid, making the lid appear smaller. To create depth and definition, apply a light shade on the lid and a darker shade on the crease, blending it upwards and outwards. Use a thin line of eyeliner on the top lash line, making it thicker at the outer corner. Avoid applying eyeliner on the bottom lash line to keep the eyes looking open.

4. Monolid Eyes

Monolid eyes have a flat, smooth surface without a visible crease. To create the illusion of a crease, apply a light shade on the lid and a darker shade above the lid, blending it upwards. Use a thin line of eyeliner on the top lash line, extending it slightly at the outer corner. Finish with mascara to define your lashes.

5. Upturned Eyes

Upturned eyes have a slightly upward tilt at the outer corner. To enhance your upturned eyes, apply a light shade on the lid and a darker shade on the outer corner, extending it slightly upwards. Use a thin line of eyeliner on the top lash line, making it thicker at the outer corner. Apply mascara to both the top and bottom lashes to balance the eye shape.
