Flutter Junkie Application Tips

Topside application is great for people with:

Eyelash Extension who need to fill a little gap while waiting for their next appointment.

People with very thin or no lashes. Alopecia and Chemo patients can now wear natural looking lashes that they can’t feel!

Sensitive Eyes

STEPS

  1. Prep lashes by making sure they are clean and NOT oily from makeup remover or remover wipes.
Pro Tip: We like to use a lash wash, or a witch hazel toner to make sure they are squeaky clean!
  1. Shake the Adhesive Liner for 15 seconds.
  1. Apply 2-3 thin coats at the base of your lash line, it doesn’t need to be thick. It goes on with a light blue tint and is clear when it dries.
Pro Tip: The adhesive sticks to adhesive, so on coat 2 and/or 3 just press liner in like a stamp instead of gliding it.  Pay extra attention to the inner and outer corners. (We like to begin by placing a flutter on the inner corner of the eye just outside where your natural lashes start. You will feel your lashes if you place them too close to your nose).
  1. On your last coat gently swipe the tip of the liner over the top of your lashes. You don’t need very much!
Pro Tip:  If you have really blonde lashes, using the black adhesive liner for this step can help to blend them in. (Coming soon)
  1. Use tweezers to pick up the inner “flutter” and place on the liner at the same angle of your natural lashes.  If you didn’t get it in the right spot the first time and the flutter isn’t sticking, just add a bit more adhesive liner in that area.
  1. Apply the remaining flutters next to the previous ones at the same angle.
Pro Tip: Just trim the last section in half if it is too long for your eye.
  1. Use your tweezers to gently squeeze the flutters and your natural lashes together.

Underside application is great for people with:

Normal to thick lashes and NO extensions

Hooded eyelids

STEPS

  1. Shake the Adhesive Liner for 15 seconds.
  1. Prep lashes by making sure they are clean and NOT oily from makeup remover or remover wipes.
Pro Tip: We like to use a lash wash, or a witch hazel toner to make sure they are squeaky clean!
  1. Apply the Adhesive Liner onto the natural lashes just like you would apply mascara. It just needs a light coat paying extra attention to the inner and outer lashes.
  1. Place your flutter sections on the makeup sponge. Gently press the adhesive liner down onto the base of the flutters to coat them. Repeat this 3x for the first application.
Pro Tip: Applications after the first time will only need a small amount of adhesive on the flutters, if any at all.
  1. Start with the inner eye, use tweezers to pick up the flutter and place underneath your lashes. (Be sure to not place them too close to the nose or it will be uncomfortable). You are attaching the flutter to your natural lashes, not on your waterline or close to your eyeball. Gently press up against your natural lashes so the flutter adheres. Hold for 1-2 seconds and let go. Use the tweezers to squeeze that flutter section and your natural lashes together.
Pro Tip: If you are not able to get the flutter to stick to your natural lashes, first try adding a bit more adhesive liner to your natural lashes and then add another coat to the base of the flutter.
  1. Repeat for each section of the eye.
Pro Tip: Trim the last piece with scissors if needed, for a perfect fit!

Enjoy lashes you can’t feel ALL day long

We don’t recommend wearing them overnight because they can get kinked and smooshed.

REMOVAL & CLEANING

Removing the lashes:

  1. With your tweezers, gently grab each flutter and pull away from your natural lashes. If you feel any pulling you can apply a little bit of the cleaning oil as needed with your fingers. They should come off very easily! Place each section back in your case for your next application.
  1. If you have Adhesive Liner residue on your eyelid or natural lashes, use a lint free applicator to gently rub the area with cleaning oil. Once you have wiped away any residue, wash your lashes with your favorite lash wash!
Pro Tip: If you have extensions on, only apply the cleaning oil where necessary and wipe up and away from the lashes with your lint free applicator.

Cleaning Your Lashes:

  1. Add a little bit of cleaning oil to a makeup sponge (comes in basic kit)
  1. Use tweezers to gently rub the lashes on the cleaning oil and gently remove any adhesive residue. Remember you don’t need very much! You can wear these lashes 15-20+ times as long as you are gentle with them!
  1. Put them back in your container for your next application.
